The following terms and conditions are applicable to the users who avail the online as well as offline service of Klickbooks. Kindly read the following thoroughly and carefully as by using the services of Klickbooks, you are hereby agreeing to follow the rules and regulations and related terms and conditions mentioned herewith.

Copyright

Klickbooks reserves the rights of all the copy, content and design that appear as part of the brand Klickbooks mentioned in the website or anywhere else. The brand colour and logo typeface, tagline and any other logotype element is also copyright protected and the use of any of these elements without prior consent or permission will be punishable.

Library Timings

The Library shall be open 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on week days and Sundays will be holiday. The online browsing, selection and order is available 24x7, but the delivery, pickup and other real time service will be available during the aforementioned times only.

Payments, Plans and Privileges

All subscriptions are payable in advance. Members shall select the books they desire from the library or from the online catalogues.
There are three membership plans available for a member to choose from:

1. Bronze
The member can pay Rs.500/month or Rs.6000/year to avail this plan. You can take 1 book from the library at a time, and you would be provided 1 free delivery or pickup service. Any extra delivery or pickup will cost the member Rs.50 extra.

2. Silver
The member can pay Rs.750/month or Rs.9000/year to avail this plan. You can take 3 books from the library at a time, and you would be provided 1 free delivery or pickup service. Any extra delivery or pickup will cost the member Rs.50 extra.

3. Gold
The member can pay Rs.1000/month or Rs.12000/year to avail this plan. You can take 5 books from the library at a time, and you would be provided 2 free delivery or pickup service. Any extra delivery or pickup will cost the member Rs.50 extra.

NOTE - A one-time registration fee is required when you enroll with our Klick Books online library for the first time.

OUR REGISTRATION FEES - BRONZE: INR 100, SILVER & GOLD: INR 200

Membership should be renewed before expiry. An expired membership can be renewed within a month of expiry without any penalty and will be reinstated from the date of such renewal. After a month of expiry, the membership can be renewed after re-registration by payment of Rs. 100.

Books shall not be retained longer than two weeks, with privilege of renewal.

In case of books which are in popular demand, the library reserves the right to recall books after a minimum of 1 week and maximum of 2 weeks from issuance.

Restrictions and Other policy

The books loaned to the user are a property of Klickbooks and shall not be in anyway misused, sold, auctioned or loaned anywhere else. The member shall not exchange books with other members. The Librarian shall examine every book returned, and if the same be found marked, spotted with ink, with leaves turned down, or in any way injured, the borrower shall pay the value of the book before getting another. Lost books must also be paid for.

Recommendation

Members have the facility to recommend a book, if they find that the book is not available at Klickbooks database. Such recommendations will be duly noted and Klickbooks will try to make the book available at the earliest. In such cases where the book has been made available at the library, the user who has recommended the book will be given the priority to borrow the book first. Recommendations can be made through our website, via phone or in person.

Membership

Membership plans and rights have been mentioned above. Kindly read through the Payments, Plans and Privileges section for more details. Every member will be issued a membership card. Membership cards have been categorized and prioritized into 3 types- Bronze, Silver and Gold. Every membership card will contain the personal details of the member with his/her photograph. Apart from the membership card, the user will also have a library card which will be retained by the library at the time of lending the book. Only members are authorized to borrow books from the library. Consent needs to be provided by the member in the form of a letter to the library in case someone else has been authorized by the member to borrow books.

The Privacy policy of Klickbooks lays down the rules and regulations binding the information sourced and used by Klickbooks. The information gathered by Klickbooks via the website or any other means is for the purpose of business and in no ways would be used for any other purposes other than those relating to Klickbooks business.

Klickbooks may also collect information relating to the overall satisfaction levels of the member or user with the use of Klickbooks services. This information is gathered for further improvement of Klickbooks services.

Klickbooks assures that in no way or under no circumstances the user data and information provided will be used for any other purposes other than that relating to company’s internal improvement and marketing use.

Klickbooks strictly does not provide any personal information to any third-party websites or advertisers.

Sensitive information like your credit-card details etc. are transacted upon secured sites of approved payment gateways which are digitally under encryption.

By using the site and/ or by providing your information to us, you directly and explicitly consent to the collection and use of the information you have disclosed in the website in accordance with this policy.
